2008 Triangle HBCU Alumni Softball Tournament  The Light 103.9, is a proud sponsor of the 2008 Triangle HBCU Alumni Softball Tournament! Saturday May 31st at Valley Springs Park, 3805 Valley Springs Road in Durham. Participating Universities include NCCU, NC A&T, WSSU, SHAW, ECSU, HOWARD, HAMPTON & St. Augustine College. All area HBCU Alumni are welcome and encouraged to play. Email hbcusoftball@yahoo.com for participation. Radio One Raleigh and the CW-22 will play each other in a celebrity softball game at 4pm. The event is free and open to the public. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome but no alcohol. The Triangle HBCU Alumni Association will be doing a raffle for prizes and proceeds will benefit the Triangle HBCU Scholarships. Games start at 9am!
